Barns for Obama

For the past 4 months prior to the elections, Greg Peterson, and a group of other socially-concious individuals participated in a small off-shoot of the Obama campaign for Change, known as Barns for Obama. Each weekend Greg and a small team would travel around Ohio to various barn owners that had donated their barn-space and adorn it with the Obama logo and various texts. Each barn owner was more gracious then the next and very excited about the campaign.
Not 4 days ago, the elections took place. After 2 election cycles, and 8 years of a Bush presidency, Ohio turned blue and voted for Barack Obama for president, ultimately putting Obama in a position that made it very difficult for McCain to win the rest of the country.
Linked are a few photos from the group’s first barn, owned by the Emerson family in Apple Creek, Ohio in the heart of Amish Country.

New Website!

Finally, a new site for my most current work! During the past two years as I have pursued a career as a freelancer, I have sifted through the items on my old site, kept what was important in a formative sense and added the various experiences that have come my way. I think getting a portfolio together is probably one of the hardest things to accomplish as a designer because one’s work is always evolving, but here is a sampling of where I’ve been and what I’ve accomplished, always with an eye to the future.
